Sometimes it’s nice to have a name that is also used in german but it written different then in german. Everybody writes my name with h ( Christian ) but in Romania Cristian is the correct way to write it. Well most of the time it really pisses me off when I see this, but today actually it was funny. I got a ticket for wrong parking, but the “officer” was to stupid to write the licence plate the correct way. Instead of CRIS he wrote CHRIS, and this means … no ticket for me since it’s a formal error.

I have finaly found a simple way to start my Cigar rating, for this I will use my new WordPress blog and the “rate my stuff” plugin. So since the Cohiba Siglo ( I and II ) are my favorite cigars until now I will give them a rating of 4.5 stars! why not 5? Well there might be something better out there, so I will leave the rast of the half point open

Once again on Phoenix ( German TV channel ) it’s time for history. “The past 100 Years”, I already seen this once and from the most things told there I have already heard. But there was one thing that shocked me, I was shocked last year as I saw this and I was still shocked as I saw this today. It’s about the apartheid in South Africa. I can’t imagine how stupid we humans are. Racism is and will always be the worst thing on this world. I always thought that something like this is against the law everywhere but that the apartheid was still present till 1993 sounds so unbelievable to me. 1993 can you imagine this? Can you image signs that show “For members of the white race group only” ? I would be ashamed to live in such a country where somebody hasn’t got the same rights that I do just because of religion or race … This blog could be continued to a very long roman I think, but for everyone that is interested in this subject I can only recommend the.

yesterday I saw the east side gallery, a 1.3km “piece” of the Wall that once divided a city in two countrys. It’s a piece of history that you have to see when you come to Berlin. What a pitty that stupid sprayers have to destroy this important piece of history. No mater if grafitty is art or not, this is the wrong place for it. One might say that this piece of history should be kept so that our children will see and learn from our mistakes, but as history shows we will never learn from the past, history is always repeating, but this should be material for a other blog, some day when I am realy bored, drunk and liste to the right music I will write that blog

as you can see I switched to WordPress the import from RSS was quite simple but all html tags have been scrambled so I hat heaps of < and > to change back so my content will display. Anyway I am ( for the moment ) happy with wordpress but time will show how good the decision was. The instalation is quite simple, not that serendipity (s9y) installation was more complicated, but if you intent to do a installation for more users with only one codebase wordpress ofers a more simple posibility or rather the debian package delivers a good configuration for this purpose.

something funny hapened today morning. I went to my car an headed of to work and noticed a smal flyer under the wiper, nothing unusual. Winter is over! Oh how I waited for this day ( and many other people also ) Went outside for a walk, I was kind of forced to go outside, but didn’t regret it once I was out. The ice was melting, people where without winter jackets outside, and gues what … the sun was shining Now what could make this day even better ? Right … 6 doughnuts. Great … after 6 months my great 4GB Hitachi Microdrive doesn’t work anymore! I put it in my card reader, got some pics from it, put it back in the camera and that was it … no reaction anymore. Just some very strange sound. No mater where I connect it, if it’s the camera or the card reader. Good that I had a 512MB CF with me, is enough for some weekend pics. But no way I will ever buy I Microdrive, I will try to see if hitachi wil change it, since I don’t have the original package anymore which Promarkt requests. Anyway, It’s broken and in waranty and someone will have to come up with a replacement! But I’m realy disapointed from the microdrive.

I think I had this small “problem” quite a long time. A few years I gues, actualy since I switched to Cyrus and this is quite a long time ago. 2002 maybee ? Anyway I knew about that litle problem but it wasn’t so bad to put to much time in it and as I was trying the first time to fix it I had the problem that I didn’t know where to get the existing users from. Oh… almost forgot to mention the smal problem I had. Postfix doesn’t know anything about the existing users from cyrus since there is no place where it should look for the users, only cyrus knows about it. But since the switch to users in mysql this problem is solved, postfix can check the database to look for the users, so in main.cf change this value:
