What’s with all these blogs about Romania ? No clue, but I just find some of the videos I saw quite interesting.
The first one is about some facts of Romania what has been invented by romanians and I must admit I was quite surprised, didn’t know some of the things myself.
So this blog I will not be criticizing Romania as usual, I think some might have noticed that since quite a while I am criticizing Romania quite a lot and some also might know what this started from, but … I said I won’t criticize in this blog.

ok and the second one is about tourism again but this commercial, I must admit, is very very good (I hope this one is NOT copied)
I like the idea, this one brings the patriot in me back, at least for some minutes.
so here we go, here is the next movie thanks for this one, this kind of makes me see things brighter again, and forget about some other things.

I was reading my favorite comic, userfriendly and there was something about youtube … so I was kind of bored and searched the term: Romania on youtube.
The first thing I found was some commercial for tourism, oh my good … that commercial is almost a 1:1 copy of the Turkish commercial, so I would say … do your own thing next time. The next thing was something about a taxi driver, that had a fake taxi and was requesting exaggerated prices from passenger, I love the typical Romanian reaction as he notices the passenger doesn’t have money to pay and his excuses as he was confronted with the camera! Great!

Reporter: What phone number ist that on the sticker?
Taxi: That’s no phone number, I just put the sticker as sun protection, it’s my car, and I can stick what ever I want on it, I like these numbers on my car.

Ok this blog is a bit late, but since I was sick I wasn’t really in the mood for writing blogs. Last weekend, I didn’t want to stay in vienna again, I wanted to go somewhere, but since I’m fed up of romania I wanted something else. There are only a few reasons left for me to go to romania, the few friends that have remained friends, my grandmother and of corse Claudia which was upset of my decision to go to Madrid instead of Romania, I hope she has forgiven me now

In the last time I use to get more and more Romanian spam and I kind of start to get pissed! But the funniest thing is this:

 This means: This message wishes to be use full information not spam. It was sent to them interesten in the news from ….

This is a good one, I also wish a lot of things in life but since I never requested to get information from them, this is SPAM ! The spam filters are being trained to classify these newsletters as spam :)

Yes once again I had nothing better to do then move servers, fuck and today it wasn’t even raining.
Ok I came across a lot of problems as usual, one was that I decided not to use debian testing anymore, I wanted only stable !
One of the problems was that stable had mysql4.0 and my old database was 4.1 and of course there where problems while trying to import the database, but hey, there is a nice parameter –compatible=mysql40 sounds like exactly what I needed …
After I finished the server almost I found out what “compatible” means for the sickheads who implemented this parameter.
“compatible” means that this line:
`object_id` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment,
will be transformed into this:
`object_id` int(11) NOT NULL default ‘0′,

notice the little difference ? arggggg!

RTL and MTV are planing to transmit encoded from 2007, actually they have already signed a contract with Astra. Pro7 and Sat1 are also planing to encode.
This won’t affect only MTV and RTL, also everything that belongs to it, this would be:
RTL, Vox, RTL II, Super RTL, n-tv, RTL Shop, Traumpartner TV, MTV, VIVA, NICK and Comedy Central!
The monthly fee should not exceed 3,50 Euro and the receiver needed for decoding shouldn’t exceed 100 Euro, this is what the article says in “derStandard”

Ok now let me think about this one moment …
MTV bombs the viewers with handy ring-tones commercials, the other channels with stupid game shows at night AND after all this … they also want us to PAY for it ?
ehmm… my message to mtv and rtl is a short but loud “FUCK YOU” !
I didn’t turn on MTV for quite a long while, I have got my iTunes and Podcasts, or I can just turn on some real quality Music TV Channels like, Go TV or Deluxe Music, so MTV, PLEASE encode your ring-tone commercials, I won’t miss them.

Once again an example why Internet Explorer is a HUGE PIECE OF SHIT !
I saw my blog on the Internet Explorer for the first time today and it looked terrible! the sidebar was under the blog entries instead of the right side, some entries overlapping and things like this.
So I started the HTML Validator and it did indeed show me 57 errors, I started to fix them and really managed to solve them all but sill … explorer just displayed crap!
I finally found out what was the problem was, none of the errors was the problem, the align=”left” for the images made the internet explorer display crap!
Great piece of software you have made Microsoft!
