My sister broke her Windows once again! Don’t know if this time she realy did something wrong or if just the windows paches screwed things up.
Anyway the behaivoir of the pc was that the explorer was crashing all the time, I don’t mean the Internet Explorer, I mean the normal stupid explorer. So couldn’t do anysthing with the PC. No network options could be changed, no Controlpanel no nothing ! always just a crash.
Since I had an idea that some windows updates could be the problem I wanted to deinstal them, but how without controlpanel ?
After a fast search over the internet (thank good the internet knows everything!) I found something how I could call just the Software controlpanel so I hoped it didn’t crash also while executing. Well I tried this little command
rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL appwiz.cpl
and was very happy to receive a software controlpannel where I could deinstall the last 4 patches and rebootet the pc, and everything was back to normal again.

Finaly back on the ground. This was one bad landing, the takeoff was perfect, the flight pleasent and without toubulance but as the plane started sinking for landing it was like a three dimensional rollercoaster. I felt my heart beating like I was on a 200km marathon, not even Moga’s mountain manages this, and I was sweating like I was in the sauna, but I have to say it was hot in the plain, realy !
Anyway, after leaving the plain I kind of fealt the necessity to knee down and kiss the floor, but I could control my self and save the other passengers from this entertaining moment.
Oh how is it great to feel good solid ground under the feet !

While I’m waiting for boarding why not spend the time with a good refreshing beer ? 25 minutes to go til boarding and 45 til takeoff. Can’t wait to get home, drink a good … No not beer, a good coffe and activate my mac mini. Not to mention my car, can’t wait to take it for a ride, but it won’t be that easy. I have to get in through the trunk to open the hood so I can conect the battery back again. I’ll just use my good old golf in the meanwhile.

Finaly … my last day in Stuttgart, in about 3 hours my plane to Vienna will take of.
Not that I don’t like Stuttgart, but in 2005 I have spent only 5 months at home and I think I need some time at home, visit some friends and stuff like this.
So I will try not to do so many on site visits at customers this year to do a lot of things that still are on my to-do list but which I couldn’t do since I wasn’t at home.
Ok enough of this for now, have to finish some things and then take a taxi to the airport.
I wonder if the reservation of the car to pick me up worked, never received a confirmation from C&K.

Nasa has started theis expedition to our farest planet, Pluto. Its 6 bilion (.mrd) km far away and only in 9 years it will reach Pluto. I find the speed of the spacecraft amazing, 50km PER SECOND. Well it will be a long time waiting for results, so get enough beer and pop corn.
[Update 18. Jan. 2006] As I heard today morning in the News, the start has been delayed … well what’s one day more?

I have been trying the whole weekend to get tinyMCE with iManager to work in s9y.
I found a blog about this but not realy helpful, the first problem was that you have to get the tinyMCE compressor also which isn’t mentioned in the documentation, and then read the iManager doc carfully.
Well I read the iManager doc 10 times but still the iManager didn’t load from the tinyMCE. For this you have to copy the mentioned files from the doc, but somehow it still didn’t work. Today finaly everything works but I don’t understand why.
The problem was the Language !!! If you use a langauage that TinyMCE doesn’t support, it won’t work!

Hurray just a few more stations to go and I’m in the hotel. I’m already starving and this time I need some real food and not chips and peanuts from the minibar. Finaly i will get rid of my beard.

The weekend in Schramberg is over and here I am in the train on my way to Stuttgart an writing a blog. I never thought that I will make use of the camera that my mobile provides, but its kind of fun writing blogs this way. Well the train is still in the station, by the way a message for moga, the bus stops in front of train station, so I have to be blind to miss it. In the meantime the train left so I will be soon in Stuttgart, then 3 days of work and I can fly back home to Vienna.
